OllaVPN is hiring 33 people in Bengaluru. Ten sales executives, twenty network support engineers, three HR executives. Full time, in person, at our HSR Layout campus. No remote, no hybrid — we mean it.

IN OFFICE

Five days a week, in person.

No remote. No hybrid. No "flexible Fridays." We answer phones during business hours and we work shoulder to shoulder. If a fully-remote role is what you want, this is not it — and we'd rather say that here than after your interview.

ONE CAMPUS

Bengaluru. HSR Layout.

One office, one team, one timezone. No satellite locations, no hub-and-spoke. If commuting to HSR Layout isn't workable for you, this job isn't workable for you. The campus is on Sector 6, walking distance from the BWSSB junction.

EARLY STAGE

Year zero to year one.

We're scaling from a team to a company. Your first twelve months will look different from your last twelve. Process gets written as we go. If you want a job that's already figured out, this isn't it. If you want to figure things out, it is.

Sales Executive

Take OllaVPN to SMBs and IT buyers across India. Outbound prospecting, inbound qualification, demo, close. You'll own the funnel from first touch to signature.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Run outbound campaigns targeting IT decision-makers at Indian SMBs and mid-market firms
  • Qualify inbound leads from the website, partner channels, and word of mouth
  • Run live product demos, in-person where possible, over video otherwise
  • Negotiate and close annual contracts on the paid plan; hand off implementation cleanly
  • Keep CRM hygiene tight — every conversation logged, every deal forecasted
  • Feed customer signal back to product and marketing weekly

WHAT YOU BRING

  • 1–3 years B2B sales experience, ideally in SaaS, cybersecurity, networking, or IT services
  • Comfortable making the first cold call of the day before reading your email
  • Working English and Hindi; other Indian languages are an asset, not a requirement
  • Curiosity about how the internet actually works — you don't need to know already
  • Track record of hitting quota, or — if early-career — a clear story of how you'd start

Network Support Engineer

BENGALURU · FULL TIME · IN OFFICE · MON–SAT · SHIFT-BASED

Frontline for paying customers and free-tier user reports. Read the trace, reproduce the issue, escalate to engineering when warranted. Most days you'll close half a dozen tickets and write up a pattern that saves the next ten.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Triage inbound user reports from in-app help, email, and phone
  • Reproduce reported issues against a real client build on Windows, macOS, and (soon) mobile
  • Read packet captures, route tables, DNS resolver state — and tell us in plain English what they say
  • Maintain the runbook: every recurring issue gets a documented fix, every fix gets a regression note
  • Escalate to engineering with a clean reproducer when the trail leaves user-fixable territory
  • Cover one of two shifts: 9 AM–6 PM IST or 2 PM–11 PM IST, six days a week, rotation by mutual agreement

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Solid TCP/IP fundamentals: addressing, routing, DNS, NAT, MTU, firewall basics
  • Comfort on the command line: tcpdump or Wireshark, traceroute, dig, ping, nslookup
  • CCNA-level networking knowledge OR equivalent hands-on experience — certification not required
  • Patient writing voice — every closed ticket leaves the user feeling heard, not handled
  • Working English; Hindi or another Indian language is helpful for phone support

BONUS POINTS

  • Prior experience supporting a VPN, firewall, or remote-access product
  • Familiarity with WireGuard, OpenVPN, or IPsec at the protocol level
  • Some Linux scripting (bash, Python) to automate the boring parts of your day

HR Executive

Hire the other thirty seats. Set up onboarding, payroll, statutory compliance, and office operations from year zero. The HR function is being built — you'll help build it.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Source, screen, and coordinate interviews for sales and network support hiring pipelines
  • Run onboarding end to end: offer letter, paperwork, day-one setup, first-week check-ins
  • Own payroll, leave, and statutory compliance (PF, ESI, PT, gratuity) with our payroll vendor
  • Maintain employee records, contracts, and policies in a clean, auditable system
  • Run light office operations: vendor coordination, supplies, basic facilities
  • Help shape culture from year zero — what we celebrate, how we communicate, what's not negotiable

WHAT YOU BRING

  • 1–3 years HR generalist experience at an Indian company, including hands-on recruiting
  • Working knowledge of Indian labour law and statutory compliance — at least enough to know what to ask
  • Comfort with high-volume hiring; we're aiming to close 30 offers in 90 days
  • Trustworthy with confidential information by default; this is HR, not optional

  • Experience setting up HR processes at an early-stage company (not just running them at a large one)

Plain answers.

No. Every role on this page is full-time, in office, five days a week, six in some cases. We mean it. The product is built by a team that sits together. If a fully-remote role is what you need, please apply elsewhere — we'd rather not waste your interview time.
We do not pay relocation for these roles. If you accept an offer we'll help with the logistics — agent referrals, neighbourhood guidance, first-week support — but the move itself is on you. Plan to be onsite from day one. HSR Layout has plenty of options within a 20-minute commute.
Two shifts to start: 9 AM–6 PM IST and 2 PM–11 PM IST. Both are Monday to Saturday. Rotation between shifts is voluntary and decided by mutual agreement; we don't surprise-rotate. As we grow we'll add a third shift covering 11 PM–8 AM, but only once we have enough seats to cover it without burning anyone out.
Smart casual. Walk in like you'd show up to a client meeting — collared shirt or equivalent, closed shoes. We do not have a uniform. If you're going to be on camera with customers, dress slightly above what you'd wear in the office.
Market-aligned for Bengaluru. Sales has a fixed base plus a variable component tied to closed revenue. Network Support and HR are fixed salaries plus standard statutory benefits (PF, ESI, gratuity, paid leave). The actual number is shared at the offer stage after we've understood the level you're operating at. We don't lowball and we don't bait-and-switch; the offer letter is what you get paid.

For Network Support Engineer and HR Executive — yes, if you have the fundamentals. For Sales Executive we prefer at least one prior B2B sales stint, though we'll consider exceptional freshers with a clear story. Whichever role, your two-line note matters more than your years of experience.
